Abstract
This study investigates the relative effectiveness of financial inclusion (FI), and technical and vocational education and training (TVET) in promoting sustainable women entrepreneurship development (WEDEV) in selected West African countries. The research aims to understand how FI and TVET contribute to the sustainability of women entrepreneurs across 16 West African countries, using time series data from 1999 to 2023, sourced from the World Development Indicators. Based on these findings, the study recommends that governments and NGOs prioritize enhancing access to technical and vocational education for women entrepreneurs to expand their knowledge, skills, and access to emerging trends that can foster entrepreneurial growth.
